The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given bar diagram illustrates the percentage of Australian men and women in different age group who did regular physical activities in 2010.

Overall, it can be seen the age group of 45 to 54 females where more into regular physical activities in the year. And in male 15 to 24 age of people are more into activities. The people with age 65 or over got the similar number of men and women doing the regular exercises.

In the year 2010, female of 45 to 54 age number of people who were involved into the physical exercises was 53.3 percent, which was highest among all the age group of peoples. Similarly following the second highest was also by the female of 55 to 64 age with 53 percent.

Justlike, in compare of males with females, male are less involved into exercises in 2010 than the females. The most least age of people involve in regular physical activities by male are of 35 to 44 age.
