Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the graph, such as the age groups and the gender comparison. However, the analysis is somewhat superficial and lacks precision in reporting data. For instance, the phrase 'a little more then women' is vague, and the description of the 45-54 age group is slightly confusing. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that all data points are clearly stated and that comparisons are made more accurately. The overview provided in the final paragraph is a good attempt at summarizing, but it could be more clearly integrated into the structure of the report.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or unnatural, such as 'Move-further' and 'To move forward'. These transitions do not always fit the context of a data report. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to track which age group is being discussed. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the flow of your writing significantly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks the precision required for a higher band. Phrases like 'perform good physical activity ratio' and 'did a little raise' are awkward and demonstrate a limited control over collocations. You rely on basic verbs like 'do' and 'perform' throughout the text. To improve, try to incorporate more specific terminology related to data description, such as 'proportion', 'percentage', 'fluctuated', or 'remained stable'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the response, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'men was doing') and sentence structure. The use of 'then' instead of 'than' is a common error, and the phrasing '11% less from them' is non-standard. While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors that occasionally impede the clarity of the information. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
