The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The Bar chart illustrates the proportion of Australian of men and women who do regular exercise in 2010.
Considering from an overall perspective, it can be apparently observed that females are considerably high in all age groups who likes to do regular physical activity except 15-24 aged females.
To begin with, 15-24 aged mans reported with highest figure at 52.8%, whereas the girls are at 47.7%. However, females whose age is between 25 to 34 are accounted for 48.9% and the same age group mans at 42.2%. Noticeably, 35-44 aged mans observed for the lowest figures at 39.5%, whilst the same aged females are at 52.5%.
Furthermore, the majority of women doing regularly exercise observed for the aged between 45 to 54 at 53.3% and the mans with same age at 43.1%. 55 to 64 aged females are reported for 53% and 45.1% men. 65 and above mans and women reported nearly to each others doing exercise daily. The former one with 46.7% and latter one with 47.1% respectively.
