The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The rendered bar chart depicts the data of 2010 of Australian men and women of various age categories who indulged in everyday physical exercise.
From an overall perspective, it can be clearly seen that, the data is taken in percentage. There are six age categories in total.
At a fleeting glance, the 15-24 age group had highest percentage of men who did physical activity which was 52.8%. In the same age category, women's percentage was 47.7%. Men and women ranging between 25-34 had 42.2% mens and 48.9% . Additionally, 35-44 age-group had 39.5% in men and 52.5% in women.
Taking the rest of information into consideration, 43.1% mens and 53.3% womens, which is highest percentage of women indulge in physical acitivity.
Moreover, age-group of 55-64 contained the 45.1% mens and 53% women.
At last, men and women ranging 65 and over had similar almost similar numbers which are 46.7% men and 47.1 women.
