The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart shown in the question illustrates the percentage of Australian who performed regular physical activities in the year 2010, categorised based on age groups and gender.
Based on age group, the trend of the percentage is gradually increasing for female. They tend to be least active during the age of 15 to 24 years, being only 47%. But the percentage of active individuals gradually increased over age and went as high as 53.3% for the age group of 45 to 54 years. On the other hand, the tendency is somewhat opposite for male individuals. They showed the maximum tendency of physical activity during the age of 15 to 24 years, as high as 52.8%. Then a drastic decrease saw it come down to just 39.5% during the age of 35 to 44 years. It showed gradual increase thereafter, but were significantly lower than their female counterparts throughout the age groups.
Overall, it is identifiable that for almost all the age groups except that of 15 to 24 years, the percentage of physically active female individuals is more than their male counterparts. From the age of 25 up till 64, female have a significant higher tendency to be physically active. However, we can see the percentage for both male and female is identical over the age of 65.
