The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
This bar graph illustrates the proportion of males and females of different age groups from Australia who did exercise on daily basis in 2010.
Overall, a large number of percentage (52.8) of men in age group 15 to 24 did regular physical activity. Similarly, women in age group of 45 to 54 contributed a great proportion of 53.3 in regular exercise . The age group of 65 and over had almost same percentage of men and women performing daily exercise .
The proportion of men fell down from first age group to other and continue to fell in 3rd one , who did regular physical activities . then , it rose up steadily in the next age groups .On the other hand, women percentage seemed to increase regularly from 1st age group to fourth one . however, there was a slightest decrease in the next one and so on to the next.
All the age groupps had almost slightest difference of proportion except one, that is of 35 to 44 which had the differnece of 13% approximately.
