The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given graph elucidates the proportion of bodily movement done by Australian men and women of distinctive age slots in the year 2010.

The most prominent feature of the graph is that the women above the age of 24 are doing more physical movements than men.

Overall it can be vivdly noticed that the age slots from 15-24 men tends to do higher ratio of workout of 52.8% than women of 47.7%. However, women ratio escalated in the next age group of 25 to 34 to 48.9% and men went levelled off. Moreover,women physical activities kept multiplying by 4% more in the next age group of 35 to 44 whereas the men was continued to declined. Nevertheless, in the age slots of 45 to 54 and 55 to 64 women kept expanding by 1% which was same for both ages while men was still in lower ratio.

It can be concluded that woem are seen to be more physiically active than men in Australia.
