The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar graph illustrates the percentage of Australian men and women of different age groups between 15 to 65 and above, who performs regular physical activities in the year 2010.

Overall, it is crystal clear that, in females, the age group 45-54 had the maximum percentage of participants and the age group 65 and above had the minimum percentage of participants. However, in males 15-24 age group had the maximum percentage of participants and 35-44 age group males had the minimum percentage of participants.

To start with, in the year 2010, the percentage of Australian males doing regular physical activity in the age group 15-24 years were 52.8% and Australian females of the same age group were 47.7%. Additionally, males of 25 to 34 years participated in physical activities were 42.2% whereas females of the same group were 48.9%. Moreover, in 35 to 44 year age group, number of males participated were 39.5% and number of females were 52.5%.

Furthermore, in the age group 45 to 54 years, the percentage of Australian males was 43.1% and percentage of Australian females was 53.3%. However, in the age group 55 to 64 years the percentage of males was 45.1% and that of the females were 53%. Finally, the age group 65 and above the percentage of Australian males doing physical activity were 46.7% and the percentage of Australian females were 47.1%.
