The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bargraph compares the proportion of Australian citizens male and female in different ages who follow workout daily in 2010.

Overall, it is radily apparent that womens reported much higher than men in all age group, while thw lowest percentage for men was recorded in the 35 to 44 age group.

To commence with, in Australia, in the youngest age, 52.8% od male did daily physical activity, compared with 47,7% of female. In thge 25 to 34 age group, the percentage of men decreased considerably to 42.2%, while the percentage of women increased with 48.9%. Moreover, only 39.5% of men in 35 to 44 age group did physical activity, it recored lowest than others. However, the proportion of women in 35 to 64 age group showed almost same, 53%, and it was the highest than all age group. Apart from this, The percentage of male in the 45 to 65 and over showed arround 46.7%.
