The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar chart shows the amount of man and women who belongs to different age groups and did daily physical exercise in Australia in 2010. Overall, women are more active in their whole life then men, while younger women are doing less physical activity comparison to menof same age.

At early age,15 to 24 women were less active only 47.7% then men 52.8%. After 24 year it was seemed ladies were more physicaly active around 48.9% whereas men percentage gradually decreased 42.2% in the age 25 to 34. Aditionally male persons faced slightly decreased in percentage of physicaly active people 39.5% only which was the lowest percentage in 35 to 44 age group. Although female group at this age inceased dramatically around 52.5%.

At older age,number of the physicaly active men slightly increased 43.1% on the other hand women at this age 10% higher energetic then men 53.3%. It was the highest number, women at peak level in the age 45 to 54. It was reported that at 55 to 64 age group male individuals slightly more active in this age around 45.1% and 53% active at this age. But at the bonus age which was 65 and over men and women were approximately same energy level 46.7 men and 47.1 women. Overall, women physicaly more active throughout their life then male.
