Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to cover the main features of the chart, correctly identifying some key data points such as the 15 to 24 age bracket and the peak figures for women. However, the overview and body paragraphs contain several inaccurate statements and misreadings of the chart. For instance, the statement 'men had lowest with 52.2%, 39.5%' is confusing and factually incorrect regarding the data, and the overview lacks a clear, accurate summary of the broader trends. The response attempts comparisons, but lapses in data accuracy and clarity pull the score down to Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression and overall arrangement are weak. The introduction is followed by an attempt at an overview that is muddled. Body sentences are heavily crowded with disconnected data points, such as 'The age group of 25 to 34 men was spend less time 42.2% and women spent more time like 48.9 % as compare to age group of 35 to 44 women had increased'. Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, leading to a mechanical and repetitive reading experience. Referencing and paragraphing structure require significant improvement.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

Vocabulary is very limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'men', 'women', 'age group', and 'physical activity'. There are numerous word choice and collocation errors, such as 'relate with different age groups', 'performed minimum physical activities', and 'more participated in physical acitivitues'. Spelling errors are also present, including 'excercising', 'acitivitues', 'as compare', 'repectively', and 'particpated'. These inaccuracies constrain the communication and place the response firmly in Band 4.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences are attempted, but attempts at more complex or comparative structures are consistently faulty, such as 'while the women doing maximum excercising activities' and 'the age group of 45 to 54 the women participated... with repectively 53.3%, 43.1%'. Errors in verb tense, preposition use, and sentence construction are frequent and often impede the reader's understanding, reflecting the descriptors for a Band 4.5.
