The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

Thr bar chart compares the percentile of men and women in Australia in various age groups who participated in daily physical activity in year 2010.

Overall,in the age between 15 to 24 and age 65 and above both men and women actively participated in regular physical exercise.

An analysis of the image reveals the male percentage had high in the age 15 to 24 52.8% and women was 47.7 %.In the age between 25 to 34 the female percentage was peaked it is around 48.9 whereas male 42.2%.

There is an clear evidence that the age between 35 to 64 of men and women both the percentage had fluctuated although women got the highest ratio it rose upto 53.3% and settled at 53 % in women . Comparitevly in men it begins with 39.5% to increase to 45.1% . In age group of 65 and above people maintained a same percentage with the slight difference of 1% .46.7 for female and male 47.1%.
