The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given bar chart illustrates the amount of Australian men and women in several distinct age groups who did regular physical activity. before commencing in 2010. In general, while the number of Australia men and women who were 45 to 54 recorded highest figure, there was a similar figure at 65 and over age in the number of people.
More specifically, there was a dramtic decrease in the number of men from 15 - 24 age to 25 - 34 age group. Moreover, the number of women experienced rose gradually 47.7 to 53.3 between 15 - 24 and 45 - 54 age group. In contrast, there was a rapidly decline in the number of female 55 - 64 age to 65 plus age group in 2010.
However, from 45 - 54 age to 55 - 64 age group , the quantity of women remained slightly change 0.3 and towards in the last age group, it was downward trend.
While, the proportion of men witnessed 52.8 at 15 - 24 age group, recorded the highest trend but 35 - 44 ages group men was the lowest figure rougly 39.5 among others.
