The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The presented column chart demonstrates the propotion of Australian individuals including men and women in several age sectors who did physical activities in 2010.
The deep analysis of the exixting pie charts illustrates, that in 2010 the high ratio of individuals who were involved in physical activities were men of different ages and women who did physical exertion remain at the bottom across the whole year.
To initiate with, the age group of men and women starting from 15 to 24 52% men and 47.7% women did exercises. In the age sector between 25 to 34 ratio of men declined as at this stage of their life they got involve in different kind of works and were 42.2% and women were 48.% approximately same as the last age group. The age category of 35 to 44 ratio of men who were in physical exercises again reduced and stopped at 39.5% and the ratio of women rised up to 52.5%. After this the age band between 45 to 54 years only 43.1% men addapted physical activities and 53.3% were women. Women were more strict regarding their fitness in contrast with men. The cohort in the mid of 55 to 64 years men gained some percentage and reached to 45.1% who did physical exercise and women remain almost same 53%. And the age bracket of 65 and over to it 46.7% men and 47.1% women were involved in physical exercises.
