The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar chart illustrates the inormation about the proportion of australian males and females in various age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

overall the females of 45 to 54 age group did much the regular physical exercise accounting with around 53.3%. And also in much of age groups the women dominate the men in regular physical activity.

The men of 15 to 24 age group dominate women by accounting 52.8 in physical exercise rather than the women account only for 47.7%. In the age group of 25 to 34 the women do more than men by taking 48.9% while men do only for 42.2%. In the next age group of 35 to 44 again women dominate men by the difference of almost 13%. Moreover, in the next age groups of 45 to 54 and 55 to 64 women again go higher than men with the persentage of 53.3% and 53% respectivily. In last but not the least age group of 65 and over women again go for higherthen men with the persentage of 47.1% while men contains 46.7% for account.
