The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The graph illustrates the percentage of Australian men and women who did regular physical acitivity in different age.
Overall, The age group of 45 to 54 females do the most physical activity comparing to others.While the age group between 35 to 44 male are likely the low in regular physical activities.
As we can see ,every age group has its own stamina and strategies. Age group between 15 to 24 males do 52.8% and 47.7 by females of regular excercises. From 25 to 34 ,the males do 42.2% while females do 48.9%.The age group between 35 to 64 females have the highest percentages . 35 to 44 male does 39.5% only while the female does 52.5%.
In age group of 45 to 54 ,the males does 43.1% and the females does 53.3% .55 to 64 males do only 45.1% while females does 53%. And the age group of 65 or over does only 46.7 and 47.1 by both male and female. In contrast females are more active than males.
