The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The illustration provides the comparison of different age groups of people in 2010, who performs physical work . Overall, in the table men and women whose ages are 65 and over is performing almost same quantity of physical work. In age 35 to 40 men's percentage is quite lower than women in doing in physical activity.

It is quite evident from the chart that male that are in 15 to 24 years of age group does a lot of physical work which is 52.8 percent compare to other age groups and females in the same age is doing quite low activity. On the other hand females who are 45 to 54 years are doing the most physical work comparative to men in every age group which is 53.4 percent.

Meanwhile, males and females in age group 65 and over are almost same in terms of activity which is 46.7 percent for males and 47.1 percent for females. 35 to 44 years of men are doing the lowest quantity of work which is 39.5 percent
