The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given vertical bar graph represents a comparison of men and women in the percentage of different age groups who regularly did physical activity in 2010.
Overall, the age group of 15 to 24 male and 35 to 44 female outperformed all other age groups by a substantial margin, while the remaining experience fluctuated in proportion. 65 and other age group remained constant.
According to the data, males of 15 to 24 led the chart, recording 52.8%, while the numbers fluctuated for the other age group. 25 to 34 in an comparison it was higher than 35 to 44 was 39.5%. Whereas, the age group of 45 to 54 was comparatively lower than the 55 to 64 group, which was 45.1%. However age groups of 65 and above increased by 1.7% .
Turning to women’s percentage, the 45 to 54 age group was the highest throughout the period by 53.3%. The least proportion of physical activity was reported by 65 and over at 47.1%. The age group of 55 to 64 remained above 50%, which was 53%. Moreover, age groups of 15 to 24 and 25 to 34 remained below 50%.
