The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the percentage of physical activities preformed regularly, by the Australian men and women of different age groups, in 2010.

Overall, the females of every age group except (15 to 24) are more health conscious than the men.

Initially, in the year 2010, men of age group 15 to 24, perform regular physical activities, the most among all the groups(52.8%), and the women of the same age groups are 47.7%. The women of age group 25 to 34, were 48.9%, which was 6.7% more than men.

The women of 35 to 44 , 45 to 54 and 55 to 64, shows an equal percentage of approximately 53%. The men who regularly perform physical activities significantly increased from the age group of 45 to 54. It increased by 2%, from 43.1 to 45.1 in 55 to 64 age. Lastly the men and women who are 65 and over, are at a same level of percentage which is almost 47%.
