The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar graph demonstrates the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did physical activities in a year 2010.

People of 15 to 24, specially men performing 52% or more, physical activities, while women are slightly lower than men which is 47.70%. Moreover, probably female with the age group of 34 or above are performing more physical activities as compared to male. Female with the age of 54 are more focused about their fitness while the men are just 39.50%, while they are only 35 year old. However, men are also focused after the age of 45 and it's gradually increase till 65 year.

On the other side, after 54, female are loosing their physical activity to 53% and at last 47.10 while they are of 65 or above.

In contrast, female are more focused as compared to male in physical activities with is described in the bar graph.
