The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar chart illustrates the percentage of Australians both genders in insimilar age groups who did regular physical activities in 2010 .

Overall , we can see that it is extremly vary between men and women however , most of women in different age groupes has a higher percentage than men except in the first one .

Firstly , men in the first age group from 15 to 24 bring in 52,8% . Secondly , from 25 years to 44 , we can see that it declained signifacantly to 39,5 % . than from 45 years and over 65 it recorded a rose by 2% .

In the over hand , Australian women keeped increasing from the age of 15 to 54 . It commenced by 47,7% and stood at 53,3% which was the peak in both genders in 2010 . Concersly , that increase didnt last for all age groups . It fell sharply from 55 year and over to 47,1% , which were the lowest percentage women has generated .
