The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar graph compare the proportion of australian men and women across different age group engage regular physical activity in 2010.

Overall, female demonstrated higher participation in regular physical activity, while male lower in a physical activity, whereas activity trends varied signifiiantly between across age brackets.

15 to 24 years old 52.8% male exercised regularly, exceeding the 47.7% women. However, in all age groups womans had higher activity rates. 25 to 34 years old 48.9% female were active compared to 42.2% mens. This trend continues 35 to 44 years old 52.5% ladies were dominated in exercise, while male are 39.5% active.

45 to 54 years old womens were 53.3% active higher than all of this and males were 43.1%. From 55 to 64 elderly womens were 53% active and elderly males were 45.1% active in physicial activity. Whereas 65 and over aged individuals males were 46.7% active and femalesn were 47.1% at this stage womens were slightly higher in exercise.
