The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart illustrates the percentage of males and females in Australia from different age groups who did physical excercises on daly basis during 2010.
Among young individuals aging from 15 to 24, 52.8% men and 47.7% women are consistent with doing regual physical activities.The adults with age more than 25 and less than 34, only 42.2% were male and 48.9% were women doing exercise on regular basis. More than 50% of females of age 35 to 44 and 39.5% men from same age group were involved in daily physical activities. The percentage slightly changes for next age group ranging from 45 to 54 with increase in individauls from both genders as 43.1 of males and 53.3 of females.
At older age of grater than 55 and less than 64, 53% women and almost 45% men were doing physical excercises everyday. At age above 65, interestingly percentage of individauls from both group was almost equal, as 46.7 percent of males and 47.1 percent of females were doing physical activities on regualr basis.
