The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar chart demonstrates the regular physical activity between different age categories of Australian male and female in 2010.

The male regular physical activity is 52.8% while the female activity is 47.7% in the age group of 15 to 24. Next, male activities decreases to the 42,2% although female percentage slightly increases to the 48.9% in the age category of 25 to 34. Thereafter, the age fellows of 35 to 44 shows almost 15% difference between male and female regular physical activities because male have 39.5% whereas female leads by 52.5%. Then, in the age group of 45 to 54, the physical work of men around 43.1% while physical activity in women is 53.3%. Afterwards, the age fellows of 55 to 64 shows nearly the same result as the age group of 45 to 54. Lastly, the age category of 65 and over are surprisingly reveals the almost the same regular activity between men and women that is 47%.

In the end, every age group illustrates distinct result in regular physical work.
