The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

This bar chart depicts the information about the proportion of citizen to Australia who were doing regualr physical activity in 2010.

Overall, it has clearly seen that men who are earlies 50, they showed higher interest of physical activity, whereas age group of senior citizen of both men and women showed similar interest.

In the younger age category of 15 to 24, male participation in regular activities reached 52.8%, significantly utpacing the female rate, which stood at 47.7%. The trend for males exhibited a gradual decline, dropping to 39.5% in the 35 to 44 age group.

In contrast, males displayed their highest engagement in the 15 to 24 age group, at 52.8%. Yet, this figure markedly decreased to around 39.5% at ages 35 to 44, reflecting the lowest participation in exercise during their younger years, women began to overtake this trend as they entered her senior years, highlighting a potential shift in lifestyle and physical activities preferences.
