The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The bar chart compares the porportion of Australian men and women of different age group who perform physical activities regularly in 2010.
In 2010,52.8% men of age group 15 to 24 did exercise regularly and women are comparatevely less than men and is only 47.7%. Women do regular exercises more than men in 2010 of group age 25 to 34.
Men of age group 35 to 44 who do exercise regularly are less than women. Men are only 39.5% and women are 52.5%. This shows that women of age group 35 to 44 are more concious about their health and fitness.
In the age group of 45 to 54 men are of less in numbers than women. Men are 43.1% and women are 53.3%. There is also a rise in number of women who exercise regularly than men in the age group of 55 to 64.
In the age group of 65 and over there is a balance number of men and women who exercises regularly but there is a slight increase in number of women. Men are 46.7% and women are 47.1%
