The given bar chart illustrates about percentage of Austrailian men and women were doing regular physical activity in 2010. The concise of this chart showed proportion of various types of age groups of both gender.

Regarding chart clearly shows the high proportion of both females and males actively follow their physical routine. Aproximately 53.3 proportion is higher then males in overall this chart from the age of 45 to 54 in compare males proportion is just 52.5 whose age were 35 to 44.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify the chart’s subject and make relevant comparisons, including the male peak among 15–24-year-olds and the female peak at 45–54. However, the overview is unclear and some key trends are misreported. For example, you say females had higher percentages in the 15–24 group, but men were higher there (52.8% versus 47.7%). You also describe the male figure as falling across the first three age groups, then rising, but do not give a clear overall summary of the contrasting patterns: women generally exceeded men except in the youngest group, while men’s rate reached its low at 35–44 before increasing. Several figures are assigned to the wrong groups or comparisons. Select the main trends accurately and support them with correctly matched data.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has some organisation: it begins with an introduction, uses a paragraph to discuss age-group comparisons, and ends with a general comparison. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, there is no clear overall progression, and the comparisons are difficult to follow because several points are combined in long, loosely connected sentences. For instance, the sentence beginning “Aproximately 53.3 proportion…” mixes the female peak with a comparison to a different age group and incorrectly identifies the male figure. The final comparison also shifts between age groups without a clear structure. Organise the body by describing the male and female trends or by comparing each age group in sequence, and use linking words only where the relationship is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “proportion,” “age groups,” “percentage,” and “physical activities,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning unclear. Phrases such as “the concise of this chart,” “high proportion … actively follow their physical routine,” and “males proportion arise” do not express the intended information naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “Austrailian,” “Aproximately,” and “differnce.” Aim for precise chart language such as “the proportion who exercised regularly,” “rose,” “fell,” and “was higher than.” Check spelling and use the same terms consistently when describing percentages and age groups.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “while” and “after,” but the structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. Examples include “The given bar chart illustrates about percentage,” where the sentence pattern and article use are incorrect, and “females percentage was higher,” which has a possessive and agreement problem. In “males proportion arise after the age of 44,” the verb form is also incorrect. Some sentences run together or lack clear punctuation, making comparisons harder to understand. Practise building accurate basic sentences first—for example, “The female figure was higher than the male figure in most age groups”—then add subordinate clauses. Pay particular attention to articles, possessives, subject–verb agreement, and past-tense forms.
