As shown in the chart "Percentage of Australian men and Women doing regular physical activity:2010" we can see that the highest number of men are those who belongs to the age group of 15 to 24, where as the women in the highest pecentage are the age of between 45 to 54. That tell us about how physicaly peolpe can be active according to these ages and gender.

Furthuremore, we can notice that the least ages of men are between 35 to 44 years old with a 39.5% only, on the other hand women with 47.1% belongs to the age cycle of 65 and over 65 years old.

Finally, we can say that the age group of men at the youngest are the most active people physically and mentally. where as the women in the age of 45 and 54 are the most regular physically active, as per the given data in the table.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify several relevant features, including the male peak among 15–24-year-olds and the male low among 35–44-year-olds, and you give figures for these. However, the overview is incomplete and some comparisons are inaccurate: women’s highest rate is 53.3% for ages 45–54, but the response also calls women aged 65 and over the “least” without clarifying that this is not their lowest rate (the female low is 47.7% among 15–24-year-olds). The response also omits the broad pattern that women exceed men in every age group except the youngest. Statements about people being active “physically and mentally” are not supported by the chart. Select the main trends accurately and compare the two genders across the age groups.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic paragraph structure and uses signposts such as “Furthermore” and “Finally,” so the reader can recognise separate points. However, the ideas do not develop in a clear sequence: the opening combines the two peaks with an unsupported interpretation, while the next paragraph discusses lows without establishing a consistent comparison. “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, but the figures that follow do not clearly explain one. The final paragraph repeats the peaks already mentioned rather than adding a distinct summary. Organise the report around an overview followed by grouped comparisons, and use linking phrases only when the relationship between the facts is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the general topic, with relevant terms such as “age group,” “percentage,” and “regular physical activity.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, making parts of the report awkward or unclear. For example, “the least ages of men” does not naturally describe the lowest participation rate, and “age cycle” is not an appropriate term for an age group. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “pecentage,” “Furthuremore,” and “physically.” Use precise chart-reporting language and check spelling; this will make the comparisons easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentence forms, including a clause beginning “whereas” and a contrast introduced by “on the other hand,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and sentence construction appear in “the highest number of men are those who belongs” and “That tell us,” while “women in the highest percentage are the age of between 45 to 54” is difficult to follow grammatically. The final sentence also begins a new sentence with lowercase “whereas,” and punctuation around the opening quotation and colon is uneven. Build more reliable simple comparison sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries.
