Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main pattern: women recorded higher activity in most age groups, while men led among the youngest adults. The figures for the first five groups are generally reported accurately, and you note the female peak of 53.3% at ages 45–54. However, the overview is not fully accurate: activity does not become “same” as people get older, since women remain ahead at 55–64 and the final figures are 46.7% for men and 47.1% for women, not a range up to 57.1%. The age band “15 to 25” should also be 15–24. A clearer overview of the contrasting male and female trends, followed by accurate final-group data, would make the summary more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, an overview and paragraphs describing the age groups. The sequence from younger to older groups helps the reader follow the chart, and contrast markers such as “although” and “while” show some awareness of relationships between the data. However, the overview’s claim that the percentages become the same is not clearly supported by the later comparison, and the final sentence gives an inaccurate range, weakening the progression. Some links are also awkward or mechanical, for example “But people fall in from 25 to 34 age group.” Grouping the figures into a clearer comparison of male and female trends, and using more precise references between sentences, would improve cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant chart vocabulary, including “percentage,” “age group,” “dropped,” and “highest,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural. “Different gender” should be “men and women,” while “doing some physical activity on a daily routine” is an awkward way to describe regular activity. Phrases such as “men beat the women” and “physical work” are informal or imprecise for an academic report. There are also spelling errors, including “Austration,” “daliy,” and “comapred.” Use concise, conventional reporting language and check spelling to make the data description more precise and appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “although,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, errors in sentence structure and grammatical forms occur across the response. For example, “the physical activity of a women has high percentage” has problems with article use and sentence construction, while “which 47.7%” is missing a verb. In “men and women whoes age is 65 and over there physical activity came,” the clause structure and possessive reference are unclear. Subject–verb agreement and plural forms also need attention, as in “the physical activity of male is dropped.” Practise building clear comparison sentences with accurate articles, verbs and clauses; this will make your range more controlled.
