There are massive amount of people who love to share data about themselves. Sometimes they share their locations also to unknown people . Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response gives a clear general preference for limiting what is shared, and the conclusion acknowledges that information can be shared for scientific, business and academic purposes. However, it largely shifts the question from sharing valuable research or professional information to protecting personal data from strangers. The examples about politicians’ locations and personal safety therefore do not adequately discuss the benefits of openness in the three fields named in the prompt. The opposing view is mentioned only briefly, without reasons or a relevant example, and the writer’s own position is not fully explained in relation to the actual debate. To strengthen the response, discuss both open sharing and restricted access to research, business knowledge or academic work, then support your opinion with specific reasons and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraph beginning “On the contrary” signals a change in viewpoint, and “In conclusion” makes the ending easy to identify. However, the overall progression is limited: the first two paragraphs both focus on personal safety, while the discussion of the task’s central contrast is not developed. Some links are mechanical or unclear, such as “On the contrary,” which introduces a related concern rather than a clearly contrasting argument. There are also awkward transitions between general claims and personal examples. Organise the body around the two views in the prompt, and use clearer links to show how each example supports the point being made.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The writer uses a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “share,” “data,” “valuable,” “security” and “safe and secure,” so the main message is generally understandable. There are attempts at more formal expressions, such as “significant amount” and “public figure,” but several choices are inaccurate or repetitive. “Unknown figure” is not a natural way to refer to strangers, and “resident” does not clearly express the intended group. Spelling errors such as “sfter” and “onely” also reduce accuracy. The repeated focus on “data” and “share” limits precision. Build vocabulary around the actual topic—for example, “research findings,” “commercially sensitive information” and “academic knowledge”—and check collocations and spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response relies mainly on short, simple statements, with a few attempts to connect ideas using “because” and “but.” This gives the writing some basic sentence variety, but complex structures are often inaccurate. For example, “people can harm us easily if the know” has an incorrect verb form, and “Politician can get attack” has problems with number and passive construction. Other errors include “There are massive amount of people” and “who keeps their personal data,” where agreement and plural forms are not controlled. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, as in “I am in the same page .In my point of view.” Practise accurate plural and subject–verb forms, articles, and simple passive sentences before adding more complex structures.
