Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, in modren world information plays an important role in scientific research, business and also in academic. Some peoples believe that it is a useful thing for others to share these type of information with others. But many of them can not accept it, because some information is too valueable they can not prefered to share it freely. In my opinion, its a crucial part of our lives so only shared useful and athentic information with others freely. Some research in science, business and in education are too personal so keep it always private.

On the one hand, sharing is a best point but some people use it in wrong way. Share useful information with others has many advantages as well as has some disadvantages also. I discuss both views and explain firstly advantages. Firstly, science leed in tecnology especially in medical field. Scientific research always help to new discoveries in medicine, dignoise diseases and also to treat it. It provide computational work and left a new question for new researchers, because every scientific reasearch has a gap. Scondly, business has a crucial part of the whole world, if someone share their experiences with others it provide new ideas of newly built companies. It can help peoples to creat new ideas and saves himself for many difficulties. Its a big advantage that sharing drawbacks, failier with others and help society economically. Students faced many problems in their studies, but after that they have to learn new strategies and new formulas to hold it. They help others students only for one thing share their experiences with others to understand new and tough subjects slybus.

On the other hand, some information is too personal and also valuable so always keep it private. If you share it with anyone it cause very problems for yourself as well as for society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the discussion and state a position: information should be shared when useful and authentic, while some research and personal information should remain private. The examples about medical research, business experience and students helping one another are relevant. However, the position is not fully clear because the opening says information should be shared, then broadly says research should always be private; the conclusion also does not resolve this tension. Several points are asserted rather than explained, such as the claim that sharing business failures benefits society economically. The discussion of what makes scientific or academic information too valuable to share is also limited. Develop each view with a specific reason or example, and make your own position consistent throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction and separate paragraphs beginning “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” so the reader can identify the two perspectives. Sequencing words such as “Firstly” and “Secondly” also signal examples. However, progression within the first body paragraph is difficult to follow: it moves from medical research to business, then students, without clearly linking these examples to the central argument. Some linking phrases are repetitive or awkward, and the final paragraph ends abruptly with a point about scammers rather than a clear conclusion. Use one main idea per paragraph, connect each example explicitly to that idea, and add a concluding paragraph that restates your balanced position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “new discoveries,” “business profits,” and “banking information,” and some choices communicate relevant ideas. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled words make parts harder to understand, for example “athentic,” “dignoise,” “failier,” and “scamers.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “sharing drawbacks” and “hold it” when describing learning. These issues show that vocabulary is not yet controlled consistently enough for precise discussion. Build a bank of accurate collocations for the topic, check spelling carefully, and choose words that express the intended meaning directly, such as “share research findings” or “protect confidential data.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures with reasons, including “because some information is too valueable” and “if someone share their experiences with others.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur frequently. For example, “Scientific research always help” needs subject–verb agreement, while “If you share it with anyone it cause very problems” has errors in both the verb form and sentence structure. Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, making some ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with conditional clauses and subordinate clauses, then check each sentence for a clear subject, correctly formed verb and appropriate punctuation.
