Student answer (Band 6.0)
People have an arugement about sharing the knowledge related to scientific research, business and the academic world. Some of the the think that it should be freely accessible and other argue that only significant information should be easily availabled .This essasy will discuss the both sides, however I support first one.
There are some reasons why some people want much level of information easily realated the topics - scientific research, business and the school topics. The main point is those information is people's basic need. Knowledge related to those topics are very crucial for us and by gaining those information people become a successfull man.In addition, those knowledge assist them to improve their career. Furthermore, those topics related knowledge are updating every day thats why people should have easily accessible.
On the other hand, some people argue that only crucial information should be freely given to people. Main point is goverment should provided information according to importance. Basic information like weather update, traffic realted information , state declation and other basic information should illustrate freely. Another point is all infromations are pricey. Goverment and several organisations invest huge amount of money and times to research project, and gather information. As a result, they need to acheive profit by selling information and thats why it should not given freely to all.
In conclusion, after the argument of the both sides about sharing knowledge related issues I belive knowkedge should be free.If everyone get acess to all infrmation, it will help people in many ways.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the argument for free information relies on vague statements like 'people become a successfull man' rather than specific, well-supported points. The counter-argument regarding the cost of research is relevant but lacks depth. To improve, you should expand on your points with concrete examples or more detailed explanations to ensure the response is fully developed rather than just mentioning ideas briefly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'Furthermore', and 'On the other hand'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the logical progression is occasionally hindered by grammatical errors. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'those information', which makes the connection between ideas slightly disjointed. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'availabled' instead of 'available', 'realated' instead of 'related', and 'state declation' instead of 'state declarations'. Additionally, there are frequent spelling errors throughout the text (e.g., 'arugement', 'essasy', 'infromations', 'knowkedge'). To achieve a higher score, you need to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary and ensure that spelling and word formation are accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'those information is'), incorrect article usage (e.g., 'the the think'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'it should not given freely'). While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent verb forms will significantly improve your score.
