Student answer (Band 6.5)

A segment of individual think that information related to scientific research, business and academics is best to shared to the world, whereas, the opponent content that some information is too crucial that cannot be shared openly. This essay will scrutinize both the perspective along with my firm consideration that some vital data cannot be shared without restriction due to chance of misuse.

The supporters of the former believer widely believe that it can be very beneficial for the people who get much of this this insights. To detail it out, evidence of scientific research can be very knowledgeable for the school pupil to understand the concepts of finding quickly. Moreover, Business data can be advantageous for the small business owner who can get a chance to broad their own business which lead to boost the country economy.

Paradoxically, the latter opinion supporters argue that some details are too valuable which cannot be shared to the public because it might be lead to the wrong hand and get exploited. In addition, some scientific research are too critical, if that critical data is leaked so it can get a worse situation for them. For instance, in many nations the MBBS admission test paper get leaked due to which the wrong candidates also get selected without any efforts and get the place of truly deserved student.

However, i considerably believe that not every facts and statistic should be shared to the world without interference. To elaborate it, some personal information are shared on platform like Instagram and Facebook for making an account and if that particular data shared to someone so it can be misuse by someone with the name of other and the other person has to face difficulties. Thus, a range information can be shared voluntarily which can be rewarding for someone.

Conclusively, although some believe to be best to share the information about scientific research, business and academics as possible to the public and other oppose it but i believe that information can be shared but with limitation for not

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding business data is vague, and the example of MBBS test papers, while relevant to 'leaking' information, is not directly linked to the broader context of scientific or academic research sharing. The conclusion is incomplete, ending abruptly with 'for not', which suggests a lack of finality. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' of your arguments with more depth and ensure the conclusion is fully articulated.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'Paradoxically', and 'However' to link your points. However, some transitions feel mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is disrupted by grammatical errors, such as in the final sentence. Referencing is generally clear, but the overall structure could be improved by ensuring that each paragraph has a stronger topic sentence and a more cohesive internal structure to guide the reader through your arguments more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting to use topic-specific terms like 'scrutinize', 'exploited', and 'voluntarily'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'broad their own business' (expand their business), 'get a worse situation' (lead to negative consequences), and 'not every facts' (not all facts). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise academic collocations would improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('A segment of individual think', 'some scientific research are'), article usage, and word forms ('information related to... is best to shared'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the sentence structure in the conclusion is broken. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your complex sentences are grammatically sound, as these persistent errors currently prevent you from reaching a higher band.
