Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides an opinion, but the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. The arguments lack depth and logical progression. For example, the explanation regarding employees in an organization is vague and does not clearly connect to the broader theme of scientific or business information sharing. Furthermore, the conclusion contains contradictory statements, as you first state that sharing is better, then immediately state that some data should remain confidential. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on one clear, well-supported idea and maintain a consistent position throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and a lack of clear cohesive devices. While you use transition words like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly', the sentences within the paragraphs do not always follow a logical sequence. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'these type of phenomenon', which lacks a clear antecedent. The transition between the body paragraphs and the conclusion is abrupt, and the internal structure of the paragraphs is often disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is limited and often used incorrectly, which occasionally causes confusion. Phrases like 'public views' and 'negative demands to the knowledge' are not standard English collocations and obscure your intended meaning. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to express complex ideas precisely. There are also issues with word forms, such as 'find' instead of 'found' and 'spreads' instead of 'spread'. To reach a higher band, focus on learning topic-specific collocations and ensure you use words in their correct grammatical form.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'sharing... will gives', 'people gets aware'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'This relevant data will definitely get spreads and people gets aware of their health consciousness.' While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are almost always faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage, before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
