Student answer (Band 6.0)

Sharing information is much needed for the research purposes to showcase a clearer intention and information regarding scientific process, Business and Academic world and other individuals are arguing that particular information is much more important and valuable also it should be shared freely. This essay will discuss both views before explaining why my believe a balanced approach is the most effective.

On the one hand, people strongly believes that information sharing is much needed for different kind of innovation, business organization and academic. In this types providing information is required with limited access because of the above applications all are sensitive information based. It should be given only required data, for an example scientists, business and academic data or a information is need to be more secured rather than sharing openly.

On the other hand, individuals believing that all the data should be shared freely. Yes, it should be when it is much important or valuable, giving data openly is a matured thing and also some highly undisclosed data not be.

For instance, academic, business organizations and scientific research labs are contributing to the nation such as academic knowledge, innovation and economical growth these spine to the country. In this case, whatever it requires should be provided only the proper confirmation and approval from the higher authority people.

Giving much information with limited and secured access will not effect citizens personnel data and also sharing a good and informative data for the organizations will be the good and cooperative thing. In my opinion, i would like to conclude it with a balanced approach is a most effective.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. For instance, the second paragraph attempts to argue for restricted access but fails to clearly explain why, resulting in a confusing argument. The third paragraph is similarly underdeveloped, with vague references to 'matured things' and 'undisclosed data'. The position is stated, but the supporting arguments lack depth and logical progression, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should focus on expanding your points with clear, logical explanations and specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by unclear phrasing and awkward transitions. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'On the one hand', 'For instance'), they are often followed by sentences that do not logically connect to the previous point. The referencing is sometimes ambiguous, such as in the phrase 'in this types', which makes it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of ideas. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the necessary cohesion to guide the reader effectively through your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'information', 'data', and 'good', which restricts the precision of your writing. There are also instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'a matured thing' and 'effect citizens personnel data' (where 'affect' and 'personal' were intended). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey the general topic, but it lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher bands. Expanding your repertoire of academic collocations and synonyms would significantly improve your ability to express complex ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('people strongly believes'), incorrect article usage, and awkward sentence construction ('my believe a balanced approach'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, and some sentences are grammatically incomplete or confusing. While the meaning is usually discernable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures limits the score. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, correct verb forms, and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed accurately.
