Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people proclaim that the information should be shared regarding the scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too confidential to shared independently. In this essay, I will discuss the both views along with my opinion.
To start with, the information should be shared as citizen may know where the actual funds have been used. For example, government provide alot of funds for scientific research, so individuals must know that they are really utilising to the on research or officials may using funds.
Apart from this, sharing knowledge regard business and academic may increase the knowledge of people. As many individuals cannot afford the expensive study of business. Therefore, learning from academic and business world may help scholars and small business owners to gain knowledge.
On the other hand, some data is too confidential to share publically that could be result of leaking information. Moreoves, sharing business strategy can be used by other companies or business rivals. To cite an example sharing a project idea or strategies online can be use by competitor that may result loss in sals and shares. Apart from this, sharing information online may can be hacked easily by hackers. So Therefore academic information needs to share by person to person. For example, the recent neet leak incident. The neet paper is leaked thrice in a year. The hardwork
of student is wasted.
To conclude , although sharing data in scientific research , business and academic may fruitful for individuals to learn yet the chances of misusing the information are higher than expanding knowledge as it could be boosted from various articles and sources

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding government funds is unclear, and the point about 'NEET' leaks is not fully integrated into the broader discussion of scientific or business information. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth and logical cohesion in places. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-explained idea supported by a clear example that directly relates to the prompt's themes of scientific, business, or academic research.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'So Therefore' are redundant, and the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. The concluding paragraph is also incomplete, ending mid-thought. While there is a logical progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the occasional misuse of referencing (e.g., 'the information' without clear context) limit the flow. Improving the variety of transition signals and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choice, such as 'proclaim' instead of 'argue' or 'claim', and 'leaking information' used in a way that doesn't quite fit the context. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'result loss in sals' (sales). To improve, focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to research and business, and pay closer attention to word forms and spelling to avoid errors that occasionally distract the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'officials may using'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'too confidential to shared'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage and the incomplete final sentence. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher level of accuracy. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like tense consistency and article usage.
