Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is often argued whether every kind of information should be share among communities or may be there is a need of censorship. While some individuals think that it is valuable, I believe that there is a need of limitations. This essay will discuss both views before presenting my opinion that why people should not show every piece of information among publics.

One the one hand, many individuals consider sharing vast information as a source of benefit. They present every aspects of information because they think that every right person will know about the real information such as knowing business ideas, diseases(in medical term), and educational world. As a result, people can take that information to their personal advantage. For instance, if someone knows about the symptoms of a disease, because information is freely shared, then they would be aware of those symptoms, by this I mean that they can tell to the others if they find it in them and they would start curing.

On the other hand, I believe that every information should not be shared freely as it is not always crucial for general people. General public is limited to their knowledge. When they know about more informations then they can cause problems. For example, if a person learns about detail of soldiers then they will tell to public which will ultimately cause issues to the soldiers. Thus, for every informations there is a need of some standard rules and the sharing should be limited.

In conclusion, some advocates follow this rule that they should information about everything they know which can be helpful for other people. However, I contend that there is no need to do that always due To this reason that it can be problematic. Additionally, it is better to share information under the standard rules and regulations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The example regarding 'soldiers' is vague and does not clearly explain why sharing information about them would be problematic, making the argument less persuasive. The points made about medical information are also slightly repetitive. To improve, you should provide more specific, well-reasoned examples that clearly illustrate the risks or benefits of information sharing in a professional or academic context. The position is consistent, but the depth of analysis needs to be increased to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in the argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'For instance, if someone knows about the symptoms... by this I mean that they can tell to the others'. The flow between sentences could be smoother, and some referencing is slightly unclear, which occasionally disrupts the logical progression of your ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word forms, such as 'every aspects of information' (should be 'every aspect'), 'informations' (information is an uncountable noun and should not be pluralised), and 'among publics' (should be 'with the public'). You rely on basic vocabulary, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions. Focusing on correct collocations and avoiding the pluralisation of uncountable nouns will significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'It is often argued whether every kind of information should be share' (should be 'shared'), 'there is a need of censorship' (should be 'a need for'), and 'they would start curing' (should be 'start treatment'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the sentence construction often feels repetitive. To improve, you should practice using a wider variety of complex sentence structures and pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions.
