Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development is very limited and lacks depth. The ideas are presented in a repetitive and simplistic manner, such as the mention of 'terrorists' and 'killing families', which is not a standard or relevant argument for scientific or business information sharing. The position is stated in the introduction but is not consistently maintained or supported with logical reasoning. The essay lacks specific examples from the academic or business world, relying instead on vague generalizations. To improve, you should focus on providing clear, logical arguments supported by relevant real-world examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is weak. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and often misused, such as 'TO OTHER HAND' and 'TO CONCLUDE THAT'. The referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. The sentences are often disjointed, and the lack of effective linking words means the essay does not flow smoothly. To improve, focus on using a wider range of transition signals (e.g., 'furthermore', 'however', 'consequently') to connect your ideas more logically.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very basic and repetitive, with frequent errors in word choice and spelling (e.g., 'REALTED', 'TERORIRTS', 'BELEVIE', 'KNOELDEGE'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas, and the misuse of words often impedes communication. There is little evidence of an attempt to use less common lexical items or collocations appropriate for an academic essay. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to science, business, and ethics, and pay closer attention to spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often make the text difficult to understand. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the simple sentences used are often riddled with errors in subject-verb agreement, article usage, and word order (e.g., 'SOME INFORMATION ARE RELATED TO SO MUCH IMPORTANT'). Punctuation is also problematic, with a lack of proper sentence boundaries. The frequency of these errors is high, which significantly impacts the clarity of the writing. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical mistakes.
