Student answer (Band 5.5)
The unparalleled significance of sharing information cannot be refuted because it has close relevance to our lives. The There are two dimensions of the topic or to be clearer, there are two different points of views. Some people maintain that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world.however, other assert that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely.According to my collage of views, we shouldn't share information freely.
First of all, before going to dilate the stance of the first kind of people according to their thinking and bent of mind, it would be advisable to say that none of the both have categorical viewpoints rather they have certain arguments only in favor of their stances. Those who believe that information should share freely, have certain reasons behind their assertion: Firstly, Information about scientific research and any academic world should share freely for students who want to study and want to add new things in the world if previous information they didn't have them how gonna they find gap and make or develop any thing else?In addition, they also opine that After getting all information they knew what to do. For instance, medical and engineering students requires practical training and information to perform effectively in their profession.if they didn't get complete information in the results they can't perform what they want .
On the other hand, second group of people possess some valid arguments as well in support of their vantage point: First of all, they are the view of Some information is too crucial which is not meant to be shared openly. For example, information about are national security cannot be expressed freely since it's very crucial for our country safety. Many fields such as science and philosophy, rely heavily on research and theoretical knowledge if they reveal all information about their ongoing research it might effect their careers.
Having discussed both views, analyzing both school of thoughts in detail, I can safely reach a verdict that both points of views have pros and cons but a moderate consideration leads me to a viable conclusion that while keeping some delicate information we can share information freely of academic research and business world. However, a balanced approach that combine both sharing or not sharing information while measuring the consequences.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding scientific research is repetitive and lacks specific, well-explained examples. The conclusion is also slightly vague, as it attempts to bridge the two views without clearly articulating how the 'balanced approach' would function in practice. While the prompt is addressed, the depth of analysis is limited, and the position, while present, could be more consistently supported throughout the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or awkward, such as 'before going to dilate the stance' or 'none of the both'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences is occasionally disrupted by grammatical errors. While there is an overall logical progression, the transitions between ideas lack the sophistication required for a higher band score, and the internal structure of sentences often feels disjointed.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and non-standard collocations, such as 'collage of views' (likely meaning 'collection') and 'dilate the stance'. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles to use more academic or topic-specific terminology effectively. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of flexibility and the presence of word-choice errors prevent the response from reaching a higher band. More precise academic vocabulary would significantly improve the quality of the argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('students requires'), incorrect article usage, and awkward sentence construction ('if previous information they didn't have them how gonna they find gap'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of periods and capitalization after punctuation. While the student attempts complex structures, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar limits the overall accuracy and clarity of the writing.
