In recent times, some people believe that it is vital to share as much information as possible in scientific reasearch, business and academic world, while others argue that some information are extremely important to be shared freely with the public. In my opinion, vital information regarding science, business and academic should be made available to the public as it helps to solve day to day problems and equips individuals with adequate knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive. For instance, the argument for sharing information focuses heavily on 'daily challenges' and 'career advancement' without exploring the broader societal or scientific implications. The counter-argument regarding paid information is also quite brief. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' of these points with more nuanced examples, such as the tension between intellectual property rights and the need for global scientific collaboration, rather than focusing primarily on the commercial aspect of books.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'By contrast', and 'Moreover' are used to guide the reader. However, the use of referencing is occasionally weak; for example, the phrase 'These information' is grammatically incorrect and creates a slight disruption in flow. Additionally, some transitions feel a bit mechanical. To improve, ensure that pronouns and determiners correctly refer back to the preceding nouns and try to vary the linking phrases to create a more natural progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. There is frequent repetition of phrases like 'adequate information' and 'scientific research'. Furthermore, there are some errors in word form and usage, such as 'These information' (information is uncountable) and 'essentials books' (should be 'essential'). To improve, focus on using a wider range of collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition, and pay closer attention to the countability of nouns, which is a common area for improvement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several recurring grammatical errors. Subject-verb agreement is inconsistent, such as 'some information are' (should be 'is') and 'sharing... have more benefits' (should be 'has'). There are also minor errors in word form, such as 'enhances their businesses' (should be 'enhance'). While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and pluralization to improve your accuracy.
