Student answer (Band 6.0)

Several people think that it is good to share more information about the scientific research, business and educational world. Whereas some habitants believe that this data and details are very important and valuable to share it on free platforms. In my view research data which is confidencial should not be share on open platforms for public while the details .which can be use by human being to get guidance on further research can be share.

On the one hand, many people trust sharing the details about study done on business educational areas and science can be a threat for the sectors if details are easily available to anyone, can leads to big problem. Furthermore, certain platform are used outside of country which can avail the details and data to countries which can be a danger for the generation. Not only that it can be a big problem for nation as well. For example, a plain was hijacked by terrorist in year 2007 after research shown its happened due to information available on social media platform easily about the aircraft journey.

On the other hand, sharing the relevant information about the research and study and business which is not going to impact the fields in any way, Although it will help to do further study and get the good results out of it. For example Artificial intelligence details are easily available on internet and people are getting good results making use of it in a correct way.

In Conclusion, I think only relevant information which not going to harm system in any way can be shared over open platforms to help mankind to perform further research on the areas.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The example regarding the hijacked plane is not clearly linked to the prompt's focus on scientific or business research, making it feel tangential. While the position is consistent, the arguments lack depth and specific evidence. The conclusion is brief and repeats the main point without adding further insight. To improve, ensure that examples directly support the specific context of research and business information sharing rather than general security concerns.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand', but they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly (e.g., 'Although it will help...' at the start of a sentence). Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the phrase 'the details .which can be use' which contains punctuation errors that disrupt the flow. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more cohesive to better link the supporting points to the topic sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'habitants' instead of 'people' or 'individuals', and 'avail the details' which is used incorrectly. The term 'confidencial' is misspelled. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'Artificial intelligence', the overall range is limited. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on using more precise academic collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('details... can leads to'), incorrect verb forms ('can be share'), and punctuation errors (the stray period before 'which'). The use of articles is also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and correct passive voice construction would be highly beneficial.
