Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the argument regarding 'unlimited information' in science is a bit repetitive, and the explanation of why information should be limited in academics relies on somewhat generic examples like 'politics, geography history'. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced reasoning—perhaps discussing the balance between intellectual property rights in business versus the public good in scientific research. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly extended.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To illustrate this', 'Secondly', and 'On contrary' (which should be 'On the contrary'). However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel a bit forced. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints and your own opinion. To improve, try to vary your linking words and ensure that the progression of ideas within paragraphs is smoother, avoiding repetitive sentence structures.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'entrepreneurship', 'validation', and 'intellectual property' (though the latter was implied rather than stated). There are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'subjects of interest is become' (should be 'has become') and 'proves' (should be 'proof'). Some phrasing is slightly unnatural, such as 'modernizing era'. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, you need to use more precise and sophisticated collocations to move into the higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. For instance, 'In todays' modernizing era' (should be 'today's'), 'scientific researches' (research is an uncountable noun), and 'article having' (should be 'articles having'). Subject-verb agreement is also inconsistent, such as 'Many article showing' (should be 'Many articles show'). While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for basic pluralization and subject-verb agreement errors.
