Student answer (Band 5.0)

Many citizens says that it is very valuable separating information in works and also in education but other think's we need to display only essential data. I think sharing an important is valuable. In below I will display several reasons that support my idea.

First of all, sharing the too much information about many things on the internet is unnecessary because it is only the waste of time and also waste of data. And it has also many disadvantages, for example when people share the useless data on the internet then it effects on child's because that information contains many bad habits and also few unauthorized material and this material shows an effect on child's life.

Second of all, the information uploaded and also shared to each other, often this become a lost for manty people. For example when people share bad information about the business and when when this information reached to a businessman than this misinformation become cause of stress for businessman and also false information caused trustless and and also cause loss of trust.

On the other hand mostly people says that we need to share only that information that is useful and also important for others. And it also shows good impacts on the students life because this age is an very modern and very student has a mobile phone and also other electronic media and when we share an better information to each other then it helps each other and mostly it is important for students when they share their work top each other.

In conclusions, providing useful to other people is valuable and also this information help them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument regarding information sharing. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. The student struggles to clearly articulate the distinction between scientific/academic research and general internet usage, leading to a somewhat tangential focus on 'bad habits' and 'children' rather than the core issue of intellectual property or research transparency. The position is stated in the introduction but lacks depth in the supporting paragraphs. To improve, the student should focus on providing specific, relevant examples related to the academic and business contexts mentioned in the prompt, rather than general observations about internet content.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often unclear due to awkward phrasing and a lack of logical flow between sentences. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First of all' and 'Second of all', but they are often followed by repetitive or disjointed thoughts. The use of referencing is sometimes confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument. To improve, the student should focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one to build a coherent argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, with several instances of incorrect word choice that hinder clarity. For example, the student uses 'separating information' instead of 'sharing information' and 'trustless' instead of 'distrust'. There are also frequent errors in word formation, such as 'manty' (many) and 'an better' (better). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas about business or research effectively. To reach a higher band, the student needs to focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than relying on basic, often misused, terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Many citizens says', 'other think's'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, and the misuse of punctuation is common. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are almost always faulty, leading to a lack of clarity. To improve, the student must focus on the basics of sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
