Student answer (Band 5.0)
Sharing information is really good for the society and community when it comes to Scientific research, so that people have knowledge about what is happening around them and so with academic and business.
It is very beneficial to me and everyone in the world to know that Scientist discovered something ,proved something or gained knowledge about the world that common people don't know or means to know about that topic, like for example about the galaxy, earth and many more topic that the only genius have the ability to learn that and same does with business and academic.
Academic is very important knowledge to share with everyone on earth. I myself benefits with that kind of knowledge. It is very useful most especially when comes to day to day life. Everyone go to school to learns academic as early as at the age 3 to 4 years old. That's where people start to learn how to write and eventually learn their skill and know what they what they to be in the future.
On the other hand in Business, some information is meant to be kept in some businessman. People shares information about the basic about business to every like how to start a business, run a business and plan a business. telling this one to everyone is good and helping the community or the world to build economy in the community or their country. But like what I mentioned it is not every information must be spread to everyone because in business there are information or date must kept only in the business especially like big corporations.
Sharing knowledge to everyone in every aspect is really good and everyone benefits from it. It helps the world improvements but there are cases that you don't have to share to everyone like in business topics.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development is quite limited. While you mention the benefits of sharing information in science and academia, the arguments are repetitive and lack specific, well-supported examples. The discussion on business is also somewhat superficial, focusing on generalities rather than exploring the complexities of intellectual property or competitive advantage. Your own opinion is present but could be more clearly articulated and integrated into the conclusion. To improve, focus on providing more depth to your arguments and ensuring each paragraph contributes a distinct, well-reasoned point rather than restating the same ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite basic and sometimes mechanical (e.g., 'On the other hand', 'like for example'). There are instances where the progression of ideas feels disjointed, particularly within the second and third paragraphs where sentences do not always flow logically from one to the next. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between the general benefits of sharing and the specific exceptions in business could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help create a more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive, relying on simple terms like 'good', 'important', and 'knowledge'. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word forms, such as 'common people don't know or means to know' and 'date must kept only in the business'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of precision and the reliance on basic vocabulary prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should aim to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to research, commerce, and ethics to demonstrate a wider range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'Everyone go to school to learns academic' and 'there are cases that you don't have to share to everyone'. Punctuation is inconsistent, and there are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage. These errors are noticeable and occasionally cause the reader to pause, though they do not completely impede communication. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips.
