Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits the development of ideas. While the essay introduces the topic and attempts to discuss the benefits of sharing information, it fails to address the second viewpoint (the importance of keeping some information private) and does not provide a clear, sustained opinion. The response is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence. Because the task is not fully addressed and the length is insufficient for a balanced discussion, it falls into the lower band range.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly' and 'Moreover' to attempt to structure the argument. However, the paragraphing is incomplete, and the abrupt ending of the text makes it impossible to evaluate the overall logical progression. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the lack of a conclusion or a fully developed body paragraph hinders the flow of ideas. The text lacks the necessary structure to achieve a higher score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several errors in word choice and form, such as 'invention new products' instead of 'inventing new products' and 'get safe form it' instead of 'stay safe from it'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss the topic in an academic manner, relying on simple, everyday language that lacks the precision required for a formal essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('information play', 'information should share') and incorrect sentence structures. The response relies almost exclusively on simple sentences, with few attempts at complex structures. Punctuation is also inconsistent. These errors are frequent and occasionally impede the reader's understanding of the intended meaning.
