Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the contemporary era, maintaining the privacy is become necessary. Few individuals argue that sharing data regarding scientific invention is a good thing , it helps in research, business and education world. Others says that few data holds crucial value to be shared freely. This essay will articulate the both views along with my opinion.

To commence with, the first view point that individual should share the information regarding various knowledge. To be more precise, when people pass the new information that other community does not know, after knowing the information they will become more aware and escape from the trouble. For instance, my cousin watched many videos before starting his business. As a result, he get profit in the initial years.

However, other view point is that it can be detrimental because when person shares the information on social platform ,sometimes it has a chance to be heck by others and that lead to misuse of persons details. To exemplify, one of my friend account freeze by another user and all the information published on the social media.

In my perspective, information could not be shared without any sound proofs because sometimes it has a chance to be stolen and misused.

To recapitulate, privacy is necessary in the every situation. There is a benefits like access to the new strategies without any hard work though there is a dark side like , misuse of information as well. In my opinion information should be kept private.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, but the development is limited. The essay falls short of the 250-word minimum, which impacts the depth of the arguments. The examples provided, such as the cousin starting a business or a friend's social media account being frozen, are somewhat tangential to the prompt's focus on scientific research and academic information sharing. The arguments are underdeveloped, and the conclusion is repetitive. To improve, you should expand on the implications of information sharing in professional and scientific contexts rather than focusing primarily on personal social media privacy.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as 'To commence with' and 'To recapitulate'. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the transition between the benefits of sharing information and the risks of data theft. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more naturally rather than relying on simple transitions.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'good thing', 'information', and 'things'. There are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'heck by others' (likely meaning 'hacked') and 'account freeze' (should be 'was frozen'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas about scientific or business research. To reach a higher band, you should incorporate more precise, topic-specific terminology related to data security, intellectual property, and academic collaboration.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'maintaining the privacy is become necessary', 'Others says', and 'all the information published on the social media'. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the control over basic grammar, such as subject-verb agreement and verb tense, is inconsistent. Punctuation is also problematic, with irregular spacing around commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that verb forms are used correctly throughout the text.
