Student answer (Band 5.0)

Information plays an significant role in every indiviual's life. Some people think that it's better to share relative information as much as you can related to research in science, business and educational world while others believe that few information is too important to share with others freely.

To begin with, People's believe to share thoughtful information with evidence is more benifical in a way, that it enhances the accuracy of the information and indiviual don't get wrong in front of others. This enhances the indiviual's to be more productive and have good research qualities. For instance, my uncle worked in a medical store and he told to his friend, that COVID-19 pandemically causes death. He told him exact prevalence of disease with the research conducted by WHO. In this way, his friend got impressed with the information provided by him.

On the other hand, Some believe that information is very valueable to shared with people freely. People got confused when sharing information with evidence to others and in this way, they became introvert. Additionally, this helped the interovert indiviuals to be talkative with confidence. People has friendly connection with others. As, my sister was shy and little bit introvert in social gatherings. She started the talk with self-belief and shared her information with others. This brings trust in her own.

To conclude this notion, I strongly agree that people should share information that is based on evidence. This leads to productivity, confidence and better understanding to any topic of today's world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development of ideas is weak and often tangential. The discussion regarding the 'value' of information is confused with personal social anxiety, which does not directly answer the prompt about scientific or business research. For instance, the example of the sister becoming less introverted is irrelevant to the core topic of information sharing in professional or academic contexts. Consequently, the response fails to fully explore the implications of the prompt, resulting in a limited and somewhat off-topic discussion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is frequently interrupted by unclear transitions and confusing arguments. While cohesive devices like 'To begin with' and 'On the other hand' are used, they do not effectively link the ideas because the content within the paragraphs lacks focus. The reference to the 'sister' example is a non-sequitur that disrupts the flow of the argument. Overall, the structure is present but the internal logic is often difficult to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic phrasing. There are several instances of incorrect word choice, such as 'relative information' instead of 'relevant information' and 'COVID-19 pandemically causes death' instead of 'pandemic'. The use of 'valueable' is misspelled, and the phrasing 'this brings trust in her own' is unnatural. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly, and the errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding of the intended meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('People's believe', 'indiviual don't get wrong'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are awkward, such as 'This enhances the indiviual's to be more productive'. While there is an attempt at complex sentence structures, they are often faulty and contain errors in word order and preposition use. The high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to read at times.
