Student answer (Band 5.5)
some people supposed that it is better to disclose as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the educational world.but some others believe that some information is too valuable to be shared freely. we can share the information with other people but somehow they are not meant to be shared so it can harm us in a way that we can lost our credit. This essay will discuss both perspectives in detail before my own
opinion.
we can help people in many ways but if we are very curious to help them in something which can be very beneficial for them so we can give them information about business as well as about academic world. Knowledge about scientific research can be very advantageous for individual,by helping others in this way we cant only improve our society but also our country reputation.for instance, their are a lot of different branches or institution which can give information to people about their business and about their work. In our country the scientific research made a lot of progresses.
some other individual thought that we cant be very free hand to share even that things which are not for sharing.because by sharing that type of information some other people will be failed in their efforts and someone else can take it what is meant for that person,For instance their is my friend who can share her personal information with those people who don't have knowledge about it and because of that misuse she lost her job.
From my perspective, we can share what will be helpful for us in our future but we cant share our personal kinda things. And some things are too much valuable we cant share it with anyone else.
To conclude, both perspectives have reasonable arguments, but we should be very curious about the valuable things and it will be beneficial for us in our life ahead.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding scientific research and business are quite general and lack depth. For instance, the example provided about a friend sharing personal information is not entirely relevant to the context of 'scientific research' or 'business' as requested by the prompt. The position is clear, but the supporting points are underdeveloped, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on providing more specific, relevant examples related to professional or academic contexts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often disrupted by awkward phrasing and a lack of effective cohesive devices. While there are some attempts at transition (e.g., 'To conclude', 'For instance'), the connection between sentences is often mechanical or unclear. The referencing is sometimes confusing, such as in the second paragraph where the transition from general research to personal anecdotes feels abrupt. The use of paragraphing is present but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear progression of ideas, making the argument feel somewhat disjointed.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There is a reliance on basic words like 'good', 'help', and 'things'. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, such as 'scientific research' and 'academic world', the overall range is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. There are also several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'free hand to share' and 'personal kinda things', which sound informal and imprecise. To improve, the student should focus on learning collocations and more academic synonyms for common verbs and adjectives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some people supposed', 'their are a lot'), punctuation (missing spaces after commas and periods), and sentence structure (run-on sentences and fragments). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some attempts at complex ones that are often grammatically flawed. The lack of proper capitalization and consistent punctuation further detracts from the quality of the writing. A focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors is essential.
