Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some say that it is beneficial to share almost all information regarding scientific research, buisness and academic world. Meanwhile, others argue that information is too important to be shared worldwide. I believe that knowledge should spread every corner of the planet Earth, as sharing information multiplies wisdom.
On the one hand, information included in scientific research, buisness and academic world shouldn't spread as these are too valuable and essential. This is because people can copy these information and can violate copyrights, which leads to common way of thinking in everyone. As a consequence, one cannot be successfull if everyone has same kind of knowledge and that can result in failure of the person who intially gathered the information. For example, it is considered fraudulent to copy scientific research of someone else and use it for own academic purpose. Although valuable information in some cases are considered someone else hard work, I believe it should be shared with everyone for learning and growth.
On the other hand, sharing important concepts and studies can help other people to learn. This is due to the fact that individuals need guidance and help in their path of learning process, so helping others will create a sense of harmony and unity. Consequently, spreading knowledge will increase more wisdom and that leads to betterment of society. For instance, sharing research work with other peers will provide more evidence on particular subject and there will be greater learning. I believe this school of thought is more preferable as it helps other individuals to learn and grow their intellectual abilities and that results in prosperity in the future.
In conclusion, limiting important information can make an indiviual successful, however, I believe that sharing information will cause growth of every individual that leads to betterment as a whole community.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding the 'failure of the person who initially gathered the information' is not fully explored or supported with a concrete, real-world example beyond a general mention of copyright. While the task is addressed, the reasoning remains at a surface level, and the discussion of 'business' and 'scientific research' is treated quite generically. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, nuanced examples of how information sharing impacts these sectors differently.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'This is due to the fact that', and 'Consequently' are used to link ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there is a tendency to repeat the same linking structures. Referencing is generally clear, though the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of cohesive markers to create a more natural progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. You use basic terms like 'good', 'important', and 'help' repeatedly. There are also some spelling errors, such as 'buisness' (business) and 'successfull' (successful). While the meaning is always clear, the lack of precise, topic-specific vocabulary (e.g., 'intellectual property', 'proprietary data', 'collaborative innovation') limits the score. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and ensure accurate spelling of common words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are persistent errors in grammar and punctuation. For example, 'these information' is grammatically incorrect (information is uncountable), and 'valuable information in some cases are' should be 'is'. Additionally, there are minor errors with articles and pluralization, such as 'every corner of the planet Earth' and 'same kind of knowledge'. Despite these errors, the meaning is rarely obscured, and the sentence structures are generally functional.
