To begin with, there are several reasons why this topic is important in our daily life. The main reason is that scientific reasearch can have a direct effect on people and society. Many people face this issue in their daily lives, and it can influence their lifestyle in different ways. For example, it may affect people’s work, education, health, family life, or relationships. In addition, young people and families can also be influenced by this situation. Another important point is that scientific reasearch can have both positive and negative effects. It mainly depends on how people use it and how they deal with the situation. Therefore, people should understand this issue and think carefully before making any decision.
Moreover, there are some possible ways to improve the situation. People should have proper knowledge about the issue and should make responsible decisions. They should also understand the advantages and disadvantages before taking any action. The government, schools, and families can play an important role by providing guidance, education, and support. For instance, simple rules, useful information, and better awareness can help people make better choices. In this way, many problems can be controlled and people can have a better life. It is also important that everyone should take responsibility and work together to solve this issue.
In conclusion, scientific reasearch is an important issue that should not be ignored. It can affect individuals, families, and society in different ways. If people, families, schools, and the government work together, the negative effects can be reduced and the overall situation can be improved.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to adequately address the specific prompt regarding the sharing of information in scientific research, business, and academia, as well as the debate over whether some information is too important or valuable to be shared freely. Instead, the essay discusses general ideas about how scientific research affects people and society and how people should make responsible decisions. The position on the specific prompt is entirely unclear and lacks the required development of arguments for both views. Consequently, the performance falls short of the expectations for this criterion, reflecting an under-developed engagement with the prompt's core theme.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays basic paragraphing with clear divisions into introduction, body, and conclusion. However, the overall organisation lacks logical progression because the ideas do not directly answer the prompt. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion' are used to structure the text, but referencing is repetitive and mechanical. For instance, phrases like 'this issue', 'this situation', and 'people and society' are overused throughout the body paragraphs without clearly defining what they refer to, leading to a somewhat repetitive reading experience.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, relying heavily on everyday terms like 'important issue', 'different ways', 'daily lives', and 'positive and negative effects'. There are frequent repetitions of key words such as 'people', 'situation', and 'scientific reasearch' (which also contains a spelling error). While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to express simple concepts, it lacks the precision, variety, and sophistication required for higher band scores, and there is no successful attempt at less common lexical items related to the specific prompt.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and moderately complex sentence forms, such as 'It mainly depends on how people use it and how they deal with the situation.' There are several error-free sentences, but grammatical control is inconsistent. While punctuation and basic sentence structures are generally controlled, the repetitive sentence patterns and limited structural variety prevent the response from achieving a higher band. However, the grammatical errors that do occur do not impede overall communication.
